Hey England
Weather watch on for storm winds, lights out all over the island and its as cold as a witches thing. But at least its bright and bold in colour - the ocean an unique colour of deep purple and the mountains as clear to the east end of Vancouver - interesting as there aren't any there other than the mountains of crack cocaine on the street.
So you should have been here - record crowds coming thru the door at Hundred Hills - we believe in the end some 70 odd characters showed for the event. It culminated in the retired Womens Edmonton Teaching Club shaking there booties to "Take That" - of course the elfin Darlene led the group. Paul has given her a good talking to as she did not assist in the clean up whereas he spent 2 hours slaving over her sink on Christmas Eve. However, he shouldn't have dressed as a submissive slave like character. It seems to be all about characters on this island; many having several versions or is that a split personality thing - probably.
Well you were all missed and much talked about. One good thing is you can't hear things said - absolutely outlandish, unqualified and enough to go to court about. Actually I think they were speaking of P&A whoever those slags are. Possibly skit personae from "Little Britain".
This is of course jolly chit chat - that thing the classes do.
Has you can see I'm working hard on the blog - big effort right? 2 entries and you're the third group of people to know about. Until we can get Alan's head the same size as Paul's we are holding back - don't want to scare all those delicate ones out there.
Before we go - we had another story night at SkyValley that makes it 2 within the same weekend - they honestly look with complete disbelief at us. They also didn't really get the jest of why Paul goes into Latin from time to time - we try to assure them its so he doesn't develop any other mental illnesses. But we'll keep them thinking we're telling the truth - the naivety of some.
Hope you enjoy our postings and look forward to your return. Many, many thanks for your phone call it brighten up an otherwise dull day. Not to say we have many of these days but we can't be jolly all the time. The people would think we have our own cult and want to join it.
P&A xx

First Day
It's Friday and the Blessed Christmas Season is about to begin in full force. A whirlwind of activities based around booze and food. Pray we survive.

Sunrise on Saltspring 29 Dec 2006
one very rare morning
Noose around the neck and morning rises
So they did it. Terrified an entire nation killed the bad guy and taught a world how to hate. Well done my fellow North Americans.
However on a brighter side the show yesterday morning created by nature was inspiring. The camera shot below isn't the best but it gives the essence of the event.
It's Saturday afternoon and Alan's out trimming our rather pathetic fruit trees - I believe I'm suppose to join him but I am holding out with excuses of laundry and a dodgy back.
Celebrated Dale's birthday yesterday - Richard does know how to offer up the meat selection but it was all rather tasty. Night before last we were honourable Edmontonians (Alberta). I believe you have to go to cackle school to actually be a full member. The night succumb to schmoosiness when the hens decided on booking tickets for Il Divo. Now if you have n't caught these guys please check out this site:
I would actually like to be one of them but they say I am unable to carry a tune ( smallish hand bag issues) I didn't really think that was a problem - I think they just don't want balding guys in the band. It's so petty.
Always,
Px
